I also am appalled, a 144hz monitor not working with supplied cable i agree is unacceptable. Although 60Hz should provide a good experience, using a higher screen refresh rate of 144Hz or even 240Hz will offer a much better and smoother gaming experience. From the list of monitors the ASUS XG258Q seems to work with the Helio 300.
