It's more of a traditional "slasher" film than the first but it has lots of suspense, an amazing soundtrack, a couple of truly disturbing kills and characters you genuinely care about.

Splitting up? Reviewed in the United Kingdom on September 20, 2018 This is one of the worst horror movies I’ve probably ever seen. So many missed opportunities. This movie was just too formulaic for my tastes. Directed by Bryan Bertino. Cars mysteriously not starting, girls falling every 10’ when running, killers walking but catching up when victims are running. What ensues is a frightening cat and mouse game whose stakes are life and death.

That makes the entire film effective.

Excellent horror movie. If you think someone jumping out from behind a corner and blowing an airhorn is the pinnacle of horror/suspense then I guess you'll like this.

Knowing this type of evil exists makes me even more supportive of our second amendment rights.
