good question! Perhaps another reason you don’t often see blood spots in store-bought cartons is because those eggs are usually several weeks old by the time they make it home to your refrigerator. Now I can share this news with them. We had them when I was a kid, along with a couple ducks. Thanks for posting this! Thanks!Hmmm…. I never ever want to go back to store bought eggs.
Thanks!Hmmm…. Because they aren't in a deep nest, they are slightly pointed to minimize rolling. Are you incubating them or just checking the Goose's nest?It does depend on the breed, one breed we had always laid eggs that appeared splotchy. If you have been waiting for them to hatch it normally takes 28 days for incubation.Try to get an egg candler, it is a special light that you place on the egg and you can see inside the shell. Make sure the incubator stays at 99 to 101 °F (37 to 38 °C).
