It doesn't look like anything is tied around her neck, but there are scratches on the back of her neck at the end. and thought Josh would be on his side (for a moment at least, since he had just stabbed him in the arm]If you notice where Josh was when Zach opens the door it looks like he was just tying the gag onto her before Zach found them.I thought it was well done for the most part, but it dragged on unnecessarily. The ending we got gave no real closure, didn't explain much in the way of motivation or give insight into what actually happens to these characters, and aside from the sight of actually witnessing this sword attack and fight between two friends, basically ended the movie with a sigh.

She is pretty unshaken about John Whitcomb's death even though she was just hanging out with him at her own birthday party. Allison had (for some unknowable reason) spent the entire movie throwing herself completely at Zach with nothing reciprocated, and it makes sense she would get impatient and throw herself at someone else in her adolescence. The film ended leaving me wanting more, but not really in a good way.Just had some general questions for those who've seen it. Even if Josh was slowly torturing them he had the time to murder Allison after locking the door and before Zach broke through the window. I'm pretty sure this is supposed to hint at the fact that he is Allison's current "employee" in that she is toying with him, along with Josh to act out her psychopathic desires.Allison is seen drinking more and taking up smoking soon after John Whitcomb's death. because he is clearly insane, he went there to kill them for less witnesses (maybe?) Allison saw the sheriff crush the dying deer's skull at the beginning. Josh apparently kills the pothead and arguably Megan. Why did Allison have 2 scars on the back of her neck? It felt like she knew what was about the happen.Why wasn't Allison killed along with Meghan? Did he go to jail for hiding the body?What exactly did Zach "figure out" when he starts running towards Allison's house?

Here are reasons factoring into my suspicion:The filmmakers provide some insight into her importance as Allison opens and closes the film.Her fascination with the officers stomping the deer to death.Both Zach and Josh were clearly attracted to her, but why did Zach never reciprocate her affections?

Could it be possible that Josh tried to kill the deer? Super Dark Times is the most frustrating film I've seen in a long time.
